Girls and Game Change among Peabody Award winners

Lena Dunham's comedy Girls and hit dramas Louie and Game Change have been named among the best in TV after landing top honours at the upcoming Peabody Awards.
Teen series Switched at Birth, D.L. Hughley: The Endangered List, and Southland, starring Regina King and Lucy Liu, have also been selected to receive special recognition at the 72nd annual prizegiving.
Saturday Night Live creator Lorne Michaels has scored a rare
Individual Peabody for his stunning career, and long-running
British series Doctor Who has picked up an Institutional Peabody
for its five decades of success.
The winners of the Peabody Awards were announced on Wednesday
(27Mar13), but a formal presentation of the accolades will take
place in New York on 20 May (13).
