Gina Rodriguez mourning dog's death

Actress Gina Rodriguez is mourning the death of her dog.

The Jane the Virgin star took to Instagram.com to share the sad news that her 14-year-old Yorkshire Terrier had passed away on Wednesday (02Mar16).

"Hardest thing in the entire world was saying goodbye to my Ted today," she wrote. "I love you. I always will. I'll never forget the joy you brought into my life, the journey we took together. You are my boy and mama will miss you. Not sure how to process or handle you not being around anymore. In complete shock hoping anything will make this better. I love you buddy. Forever."

Gina did not detail the circumstance's surrounding Ted's death.

The 31-year-old has further paid tribute to her late pet by including several photos of him online. She is also the owner of another pooch named Casper.
