Gigi Hadid scores dream job as a Victoria's Secret angel

Gigi Hadid's modeling dreams have come true after Victoria's Secret bosses invited her to be a part of their ratings-busting, end-of-year Fashion Show.

Officials at the lingerie company posted a video of the moment Hadid discovered she would be a Victoria's Secret angel on Twitter on Thursday (29Oct15).

The accompanying caption read: "We love surprises so here's a BIG one for @GiGiHadid at the #VSFashionShow castings! See you on the runway, Gigi."

The thrilled beauty, who is currently dating pop star Joe Jonas, wrote, "Anyone that grew up w/me (with me) knows that this show has been a dream of mine 4ever! THANK U VS... Brought me to tears."

She also shared the video of herself finding out the news at her audition, while still wearing lingerie.

Jonas was also thrilled for his girlfriend, tweeting, "@GiGiHadid so happy for you."

The Victoria's Secret Fashion Show will air in December (15).
