Geri Halliwell weds

Former Spice Girls star Geri Halliwell is a married woman.

The Wannabe singer, 42, wed fiance Christian Horner in Woburn, England on Friday (15May15) in front of family and friends, including her former bandmates Mel B and Emma Bunton, comedian pal Dawn French and British singer Myleene Klass.

This is the first wedding for the couple, who became engaged in November (14).

The former Ginger Spice wore a couture lace gown and veil for the early evening nuptials, and was accompanied by her nine-year-old daughter Bluebell Madonna.

As she prepared for the ceremony, Halliwell took to social media and posted photo clues of items of clothing and accessories she would be wearing to cover the traditional 'something old, something new, something borrowed and something blue' wedding day requirements, while Mel B offered up her best wishes, tweeting, "@GeriHalliwell wishing you the most beautiful special day of your life, I love you xxxx."

The newlyweds, who have been publicly dating since March, 2014, have children from previous relationships - Horner has a 14-year-old daughter, named Olivia.
