Superstar singer George Michael paid $43,000 a week to help him overcome his anxiety issues, according to U.K. reports.
The Faith hitmaker scrapped his Australian tour last September (12) to seek treatment for anxiety relating to his near-fatal bout of pneumonia and prolonged hospital stint in Austria in 2011.
At the time he told fans, "I have today announced the cancellation of the shows in Australia which breaks my heart. By way of explanation all I can say at this time is that since last year's illness I have tried in vain to work my way through the trauma that the doctors who saved my life warned me I would experience."
Michael reportedly underwent therapy Down Under at the Sanctuary clinic in New South Wales, which set him back a whopping $43,000-per-week, according to Britain's The Sun.
The star stayed for a two-month stint, which started in February (13), and is now reportedly back in the U.K.
