Friends shut down Justin Bieber/Hailee Steinfeld romance rumors

Friends of Hailee Steinfeld have shot down a new report suggesting she's the latest girl in Justin Bieber's life.

Sources recently told TMZ the two stars have been dating for the past month after they were introduced by the pastor of Los Angeles' Hillsong Church, which they both attend, and they met up in New York on Monday night (01May17) after the True Grit star attended the Met Gala alone.

Justin and Hailee have also been snapped together, but those closest to the rumored couple insist they are just friends.

One friend tells Gossip Cop there's "zero truth, none whatsoever" to the romance reports.

Representatives for the two young stars have yet to comment.
