An actor and former back-up dancer for Madonna, Chris Brown and Kelly Rowland has been charged with disability fraud in California.
Leroy Barnes stands accused of collecting $51,000 in worker's compensation benefits in 2010 and 2011 after suffering injuries when a piece of ceiling fell on him.
However, officials at the California Department of Insurance claim
the 27 year old lied about his inability to work during that period
as he allegedly sought employment dressing up like a hamster to
film a commercial for car manufacturer Kia, and joined pop stars
Madonna, Brown and Rowland as a back-up dancer.
He is currently free on bail following his arrest last month
(May14).
