
Fey and Baldwin win comedy prizes

Tina Fey, Alec Baldwin and David Letterman were laughing as they were honored at the first ever Comedy Awards on Saturday night (26Mar11).
Fey won the Best Comedy Actress In A Film for her role in Date Night, while the 30 Rock creator's TV co-star Baldwin walked away with the prize for Best Comedy Actor in Television for the hit program.
The Hangover star Zach Galifianakis was awarded Best Actor in A Film for Dinner for Schmucks, while Saturday Night Live's Kristen Wiig picked up Best Actress in Television for her performances on the sketch show.
Modern Family was named Best Comedy Series and The Other Guys claimed Best Comedy Film at the bash, organized by network bosses at cable channel Comedy Central.
Eddie Murphy's long lasting career in comedy was celebrated with the Icon Award, while talk show legend Letterman received the first ever Johnny Carson Award for Comedic Excellence.
