Fergie focusing on business

FERGIE is putting the Black Eyed Peas' hiatus to good use - she's planning to focus her energy on her business ventures.

The I Gotta Feeling hitmakers announced in July (11) that they are to take a break, and they started their time off after their world tour, which came to a close in Miami, Florida last week (23Nov11).

Rapper will.i.am is working on his solo career, but Fergie will be concentrating on her other projects, which include perfumes and a shoe range.

She tells Vegas Magazine, "I really want to focus on my solo business ventures next year. I've got my third Avon fragrance in the bottle, so I'm excited about that, as well as another great season coming together for my Fergie Footwear line.

"I'm very involved. I work closely with the Brown shoe team and my stylist, Bea Akerlund, overseeing all of the designs. We meet several times a year to go over trends and new ideas."
