Enrique Iglesias thanks fans for support after hand injury

Spanish singer Enrique Iglesias has thanked his fans for their support as he recovers from surgery after injuring his hand on a drone camera onstage last weekend (30-31May15).

Iglesias sliced his fingers when he grabbed the gadget at a show in Tijuana, Mexico on 30 May (15). Photos from the concert show Iglesias' T-shirt and hand covered in blood, and the Hero singer was later diagnosed with a fracture and underwent reconstructive surgery to treat the deep cuts he sustained.

He has now reached out to fans to thank them for their well wishes by sharing a picture of his uninjured hand with the word 'Thank You!' written in the palm. He added in a caption on Instagram.com, "Wanted to do something special to thank all you guys for your love and support this week."

He later replied to a follower, "My hand is getting better little by little... I am going to Mexico at the beginning of July, so see you there!"
