Enrique Iglesias returns to stage after hand surgery

Spanish singer Enrique Iglesias returned to the stage for the first time after undergoing surgery for a nasty hand injury on Saturday (27Jun15).

The Hero hitmaker's fingers were sliced up when he grabbed a flying drone at a show in Tijuana, Mexico last month (May15), and he was later diagnosed with a fracture.

He underwent reconstructive surgery, and after nearly a month of recuperation, he made his first public appearance at Fort Sill in Lawton, Oklahoma to perform for over 15,000 members of the Air Force Reserve and their family members.

In photos posted on social media, Iglesias sported a special brace and bandage on his hand, but he still made an effort to reach out to fans in the crowd with his other hand.

He is slated to resume his Sex and Love Tour in Mexico City, Mexico on 3 July (15).
