Actress Emma Stone turns to her former Crazy, Stupid, Love co-star Ryan Gosling for advice when selecting new projects.
The 23 year old is a relative newcomer to the industry after her breakthrough role in Superbad, and although she has her own managerial team, Stone often sends potential scripts to Gosling - knowing he will always look out for her best interest and give his honest opinion.
She tells Interview magazine, "I've asked him to read a couple of scripts. I just really like hearing his viewpoint because I know that it's never going to be tainted. He's very much his own person. It has really just been scripts so far, because I only met him two years ago when we did Crazy, Stupid, Love, but it was like meeting a member of your team or something...
"I immediately felt a kinship with him... I really like his brain."
The pair has continued to grow its friendship on the set of new 2013 crime film Gangster Squad, in which Stone and Gosling will again play lovers.
