Emma Roberts bought herself new jewelry after broken engagement

Actress Emma Roberts swapped her engagement ring with three gold bands after splitting from fiance Evan Peters to remind herself of her own worth.

The Scream Queens star parted ways with actor Evan in June (15), 18 months after he popped the question, and in a new interview with Allure magazine, Emma sheds a little light on how she managed to get over the break-up.

The famously private actress reveals she treated herself to the new jewelry to signify something she had learned from her own mother.

"Always love yourself, and always know what you're worth," she tells the publication of the meaning of the rings, which she wears on her left hand.

Emma and Evan, who co-starred on American Horror Story, sparked rumors of a reconciliation in August (15) after they were photographed shopping together in Los Angeles, and although the pair has continually been spotted out in public, Julia Roberts' niece isn't ready to open up about the apparent romantic reunion.

"I don't want to talk about that," she tells Allure, when asked if he is still a part of her life.

The on/off couple has had a rocky relationship - Emma, 24, was arrested in Canada in the summer of 2013 amid allegations of domestic violence following a dispute with 28-year-old Evans.

At the time, her representative dismissed the bust up as an "unfortunate incident and misunderstanding" and claimed the stars were "working together to move past it", and months later, they became engaged.
