EMMA BUNTON REFUTES SPICE GIRLS FILM REPORTS

Former Spice Girl Emma Bunton has brushed off reports the group is working on a Spice World sequel, insisting her comments about an upcoming project were taken out of context.

According to tabloid reports last week (ends23Jul10), the artist formerly known as Baby Spice appeared to be promoting a new film musical based on her girl group's hits, but she has taken to Twitter.com to set the record straight.

She insists there is no movie musical planned, and she was talking about the group's stage musical with Mamma Mia! producer Judy Craymer.

Emma Bunton writes, "Guys I'm sorry but I DID NOT mention that we would be doing another film!. But we r very excited about r musical in the theatre (sic)!"
