EMINEM MAKING BIG SCREEN RETURN WITH BOXER FILM

Rapper Eminem is punching his way back on to the big screen - the hip-hop star will play an up-and-coming boxer in movie Southpaw.
The Slim Shady superstar made a spectacular return to the charts this year (10) with the release of his best-selling record Recovery.
But he is hoping to set the box office alight again with his first big screen acting role since his acclaimed turn in the semi-autobiographical 8 Mile in 2002.
Eminem will play a welterweight boxer who becomes a champ, only to be hit by a personal tragedy. The film will also be loosely based on the star's own life and experiences, according to AllHipHop.com.
