Ellie Goulding is set to release a song for charity.

The British singer is due to put out How Long Will I Love You, which featured as a bonus track on her recent album Halcyon Days, to support the 2013 Children in Need campaign.

The track has been chosen as the official single for the 2013 fundraising appeal and will help bring in donations to support disadvantaged children and young people across the U.K.

Goulding says, "I've grown up watching BBC Children in Need so it's fantastic that I'm doing this year's single! It is an emotional song, but in a really positive way, and I've been completely blown away with the positive reaction it's had already."

The Burn hitmaker also shared her news on Twitter.com writing, "Very proud that How Long Will I Love You is the official CIN (Children In Need) song."
