Eliza Dushku and Rick Fox split

Actress Eliza Dushku has split from former basketball player Rick Fox.

The couple began dating in 2009, but the Bring It On star recently revealed she is no longer with the former sportsman and has moved back to her native Boston, Massachusetts after 22 years of living in Los Angeles.

Suggesting the five-year romance may have ended on a sour note, she tells The Boston Globe, "Rick's an L.A. guy and I'm a Boston girl... I'd rather be a little physically cold here than emotionally cold in L.A. I missed my town and I missed my family."

Dushku is planning to go back to school now that she is home.

Prior to dating Fox, Dushku romanced producer Brent Bolthouse and funnyman Seth McFarlane, while the former Los Angeles Lakers star was married to Vanessa Williams from 1999 to 2005.
