ELIJAH WOOD SIGNS UP FOR THE HOBBIT

Elijah Wood is returning to Middle Earth - he has signed on to star in the Lord Of The Rings prequel The Hobbit.

The actor will reprise the role of Frodo Baggins in the film, which will start shooting in New Zealand next month (Feb11). Elijah Wood played Frodo in the Lord of the Rings trilogy.

Cate Blanchett and Sir Ian McKellen will also reprise their roles from the trilogy.
