Ed Sheeran to relaunch VH1 Storytellers
British singer/songwriter Ed Sheeran has signed up to help revive beloved VH1 series Storytellers after a three-year hiatus.
The programme, which features top artists performing and talking about their hits in an intimate setting, will return to TVs later this year (15) with Sheeran as the featured act.
His show will be taped at Whelan's in Dublin, Ireland on 24 January
(15).
Sheeran chose the venue because he claims a Damien Rice gig there
over 10 years ago changed his life.
He says, "It's amazing to come back to perform at a place that
means so much to me personally. I was only about 11 or 12 years old
when I saw Damien play at Whelan’s, and that night literally
changed my life. The time he spent talking with me after the show
made all the difference. It inspired me in a way that I only hope
to do for someone else."
