DUNST HONORED FOR CHARITY WORK

Actress Kirsten Dunst was honored for her tireless charity work at a glitzy ceremony in Los Angeles on Saturday (16Jan10).

The Spider-Man star is a long-time supporter of The Art of Elysium, an organization which helps celebrities visit sick children in hospital.

Dunst regularly volunteers her services - along with stars including Ben Affleck, Courteney Cox and Eljiah Wood - and charity bosses praised her ongoing support at a gala in L.A.

Dunst says, "I'm grateful to be allowed to be of service. It's really lovely."

Wood, who was also at the ceremony, adds, "They ess entially bring the arts community to children's hospitals."
