Drake delays mixtape for solo album

Drake has shelved his R+B mixtape project indefinitely to focus on his forthcoming album.
The Fancy hitmaker has taken the hip-hop world by storm since signing to rap superstar Lil Wayne's Young Money label in 2009, and he released his debut disc, Thank Me Later, last year (10).
He's been working on the follow-up, Take Care, whilst also planning a mixtape, entitled It's Never Enough - but he's now concentrating efforts on his solo offering.
In a post on his blog, he writes, "I have decided that I am going to push It's Never Enough and focus completely on delivering Take Care to you all. I feel like my mind is truly ready to make this next album NOW and I don't want that feeling to escape me."
