Drake Bell and Josh Peck reunite with big hug at 2017 MTV VMAs

Drake Bell and Josh Peck appeared to quash their feud by sharing a hug at the 2017 Mtv Video Music Awards (VMAs) on Sunday night (27Aug17).

The former Nickelodeon stars, who rose to fame in TV show Drake & Josh, have been hostile since June (17) after Peck allegedly didn't invite Bell to his wedding.

However, it appears the drama is all water under the bridge now as the duo embraced at the VMAs, and both shared an image of their hug on their Instagram pages along with the caption: "Hug me..."

And the image appeared to delight fans of the pair, with one social media user writing, "It's about time ... finally," and another adding: "The kid inside of me is screaming with happiness."

At the time of Bell's apparent snub from 30-year-old Peck's wedding to film editor Paige O'Brien in Malibu, he took to Twitter to address his exclusion from the nuptials in a series of now deleted posts, in which he declared the end of his friendship with the actor.

"When you're not invited to the wedding the message is clear," he wrote, before adding, "True colors have come out today. Message is loud and clear. Ties are officially cut. I'll miss ya brotha (sic)... Loyalty is key. ALWAYS remember where you came from."

But Bell, 31, later cooled off a little on the topic and in July, he admitted that his outburst was due to being "caught off guard" after hearing about the wedding. And he was also stunned to learn that his social media messages had gone viral.

"That was a shock," he told People magazine. "I didn't think it would be that big of a deal. I did not realize that it was going to have such a viral effect."
