Pop star Demi Lovato is giving fans a chance to download her latest album for free.

The Skyscraper hitmaker released her self-titled record over a year ago, but now fans can download the album exclusively on Google Play for one week only.

In a video posted on YouTube.com, Lovato offers her gratitude to all the fans who have supported her over the past 12 months, and says, "I want to thank you so much for supporting my album Demi. It's been an amazing year, and looking back, I'm still really, really proud of it."

Demi features her hit singles Heart Attack, Really Don't Care and Neon Lights, and the new release comes with a special bonus track of her cover of Ed Sheeran's Give Me Love.

Lovato is the latest artist to offer an album on Google Play for free - Kanye West and Katy Perry have also offered up the treat for fans.
