Demi Lovato covers up old tattoo with rose

Singer/actress Demi Lovato has covered up an old tattoo of a pair of lips on her arm by replacing it with the image of a flourishing rose.

The Skyscraper hitmaker had the pink kiss design placed near her left wrist years ago, but she recently decided it was time for a change and shared a photo of her completed new skin art on Instagram.com on Tuesday (07Apr15), after paying a visit to her friend's Gee's Spot tattoo parlor.

In the accompanying caption, she suggests the old ink reminds her of a "vagina", writing, "Bye bye (kiss) and hello (rose).. Thank you SO MUCH to my brother @GEESPOTAT2... It looks beaaauutiful (sic) and I LOVE it!! #RIPvaginatattoo."

Lovato has a collection of tattoos all over her body - they include a cross on her hand, birds on her arm and the words 'Stay' and 'Strong' on her wrists, a reminder to keep fighting for sobriety after a previous battle with drugs and an eating disorder struggle.
