Demi Lovato and Odell Beckham Jr. 'look very friendly on date'
Demi Lovato has sparked rumors she is dating footballer player Odell Beckham Jr..
The 23-year-old singer is newly single, having split from actor Wilmer Valderrama in June (16) after an on-off six-year relationship. But she is doing her best to move on from her former romance, and was seen enjoying a dinner with Odell, also 23, on Tuesday night (19Jul16).
According to the New York Post's gossip column Page Six, the pair
was spotted at restaurant Hunt & Fish Club in New York's
Midtown.
"Odell came in around 11pm alone, then Demi discreetly arrived
about 10 minutes later," a source told the outlet. "They sat in a
corner booth, and it definitely looked like a date. They looked
very friendly and stayed until around 1.30am."
The evening out comes after Demi admitted in a recent interview
that she is enjoying her new-found freedom following her split from
Wilmer.
"I feel really amazing," she told radio host Elvis Duran. "I feel
really great and I'm growing. My life is just really, really
exciting for me because I'm growing. It's new and fresh, and I feel
free."
Odell is a big name in the sports world and recently hit headlines
when he was romantically linked to Khloe Kardashian. Both Khloe and
Odell insisted they were just friends, while the sportsman later
told GQ magazine that the rumors had led to an awkward conversation
to someone else he is romancing.
"Things go like that... then some other girl that I may have been
talking to hear about it, and now it’s more drama, more commotion,"
he said. "I’m sitting here trying to explain my situation to
somebody, and it’s really not even a situation."
The pair were first linked after being seen together at Drake's
Memorial Day weekend party, but Khloe was quick to set the record
straight about the nature of their relationship once the pictures
emerged.
"Sorry to burst your bubble," she tweeted. "When a couple drinks, a
little flirting and an invasion of privacy collide things may look
crazy ... However ... this ain't that and that ain't this."
