David Beckham puts Harry Styles through his paces

Harry Styles is taking soccer tips from David Beckham.

The odd couple were seen jogging in London on Tuesday (08Mar16), prompting onlookers to believe the former Manchester United and England star was passing on a little sporting knowledge.

A snap of the pair posted on Twitter by a Styles fan, sent followers into a frenzy, while one eyewitness wrote: "Pretty epic start to the day, trained with David Beckham and Harry Styles! Hope everyone's having a good day too."

The former One Direction star and Beckham have become firm friends over the years. In 2012 Harry, 22, made the odd bromance official when he tweeted: "David Beckham is my hero". And in October (15), he played at David's former Old Trafford home as part of a seven-a-side charity match for UNICEF. The team also featured David's son Brooklyn and best friend, football agent, Dave Gardener.

"Nice way to warm up before the big game at Old Trafford... Can't beat a kick around with mates..." the star wrote on Instagram under a photo of the star-studded team.

Meanwhile, in December (15) David supported Harry by wishing him well before One Direction's pre-hiatus X Factor performance in the U.K.

"What can I say... five years and you've given so much to so many people... unbelievable talented but more importantly unbelievable guys. You need to come back soon!" he said.

In between working out with David Beckham, Harry has also been busy penning songs with Snow Patrol's Johnny McDaid, and he has a solo album rumoured for release later this year (16).
