Danity Kane set for public reunion at MTV Video Music Awards

Danity Kane, the girl band Sean 'Diddy' Combs' helped create on his reality show Making The Band 3, are reuniting at the MTV Video Music Awards.

Aubrey O'Day, Shannon Bex, Dawn Richard and Aundrea Fimbres will hit the red carpet at the prizegiving on Sunday (25Aug13), according to celebrity blogger Perez Hilton.

The quartet announced plans for a comeback earlier this year (13) - four years after breaking up.

Danity Kane were formed in 2005, but split just over three years later shortly after O'Day and Wanita Woodgett quit during a heated showdown on Making The Band 4.

In January, 2009, Richard confirmed the band was no more.

During their brief run, Danity Kane became the first female group in U.S. chart history to debut their first two albums at the top of the Billboard 200.
