Connor Cruise dropped by agent over Super Bowl fight

Tom Cruise's DJ son Connor has been dropped by his agent following a spat over a Super Bowl text.

The New York Giants triumphed over the New England Patriots during the American football championships at the weekend (04-05Feb12) - much to the disappointment of die-hard fan Connor Cruise, who was a high school football star.

Todd Krim, the 17 year old's representative, teased Cruise with a playful tweet after the game, writing, "Sorry @TheConnorCruise maybe next year!!!"

However, DJ Cruise wasn't too receptive and he responded in a text, "That was a gay a** (expletive) tweet... U don't say (expletive) like that about my team the second they lose. Low."

Taken aback by the rant, Krim ended the pair's professional relationship on Monday (06Feb12) by emailing staff members at his charity organisation Give Back Hollywood an explanation, alongside a screen grab of Cruise's "highly offensive" and "homophobic" text.

The message reads, "I am no longer speaking with (him)... I refuse to be professionally (or even personally) associated with someone that engages in this sort of behavior... I just thought you should know who and what you're dealing with."

Cruise has apparently learned his lesson - releasing a statement to the New York Post through his rep, the teen says, "What I texted was unacceptable. It is not a reflection of who I am and what I feel, and it certainly won't happen again."
