Confusion surrounds Justin Bieber's alleged ejection from Coachella

Mystery surrounds a new viral video which appears to show Coachella festival security guards battling with Justin Bieber and his entourage on Sunday night (12Apr15).

Eyewitnesses claim Bieber was kicked out of the festival site following an altercation linked to his lack of an all access pass for fellow Canadian Drake's headlining performance.

During the fight, one minder allegedly placed the singer in a chokehold as he attempted to escort Bieber away from the party, but sources close to the pop star tell TMZ.com he left voluntarily after being refused access to a VIP area.

The Baby singer was one of many celebrities who was spotted roaming the festival grounds and not actually performing over the weekend - Bradley Cooper and his ex Suki Waterhouse, Ashley Greene, Katy Perry, Nikki Reed and Ian Somerhalder and Leonardo DiCaprio were also among the big names in the crowd, while Greene and Reed's Twilight co-star Robert Pattinson was there to support his rumored fiancee FKA Twigs, who was among the headliners on Saturday night (11Apr15).
