Ciara served with lawsuit during Los Angeles gig

R&B star Ciara's concert at the Los Angeles Pride Parade was marred on Saturday (08Jun13) after she was served with a lawsuit in the middle of her performance.

The Goodies hitmaker was slated to make an appearance at popular gay bar The Factory on Friday night (07Jun13) to celebrate the start of L.A. Pride week, but she allegedly backed out of the show at the last minute due to restrictions in her parade contract as the headlining act.

Bosses at The Factory filed documents against the 27 year old for breach of contract, and on Saturday Ciara was left red faced after a woman in the crowd emerged to pass her the legal papers mid-song.

The shocked star tried to hand back the form as she moved away from the crowd, but video footage from TMZ.com features the process server placing the lawsuit on the stage and triumphantly shouting, "She got served!"
