Bidding Farewell to "Pretty Little Liars", "The Vampire Diaries", and "Teen Wolf"

A 1990s remake was scrapped due to casting concerns over Carter's successor but Ally McBeal creator David E. Kelley has signed a deal with Warner Bros. and DC Entertainment bosses to write and produce a revamped version.

Casting details have yet to be announced but Mad Men beauty Hendricks has already been linked to the lead - and the actress admits she'd love the speculation to come true.

She says, "I heard that rumour too - I don't know where it got started but I love it!

"I've been wanting to wear that outfit my whole life! I'd love to (do it). That would be such fun! Let's put it out there!"
