Chrissy Teigen is still learning how to embrace the changes her body has gone through since the birth of her daughter.
John Legend's wife welcomed little Luna Simone in April (16) and she recently posed for the first time in a swimsuit for Sports Illustrated's Swimsuit issue.
The 31-year-old admits it has "been a while" since she has "done anything in a swimsuit", and she was bit hesitant about posing in a bikini, but she knew editors at the magazine would make her look her best.
"I haven't shot since baby," she says in a video taken during the shoot, "but of course you know that (SI Swimsuit editor) MJ (Day) and everyone at Sports Illustrated in general is going to embrace your body no matter what's happening and embrace the changes."
"She showed up telling me she would only shoot one pieces, and if I could throw a blanket over the top of her, that would be great. And by the end of it... I think she was wearing nothing," Day adds. "I think she surprised herself on this trip. Because I don't think she was seeing herself quite the way we were seeing her."
Chrissy previously opened up about how "feminine" she felt after giving birth to Luna, revealing she appreciated her new sex appeal.
"You get, like, hips," she told Elle Australia in December (16). "Finally, for the first time, I feel like I have a bit more of a womanly figure."
She also insisted she feels more confident when she wears nothing.
"I would much rather shoot completely naked than in a swimsuit; it's just always been my thing," she added. "I've never been much of a beach girl. I grew up in Washington - it's freezing in that ocean."
