Chris Brown's name appears in another shoot-out story

Chris Brown has been caught up in another party drama after shots rang out at a bash in Houston, Texas shortly after he had left the venue.

The troubled R&B star's representative has assured fans the singer had left the bash when the incident occurred on Sunday night (15Mar15).

Two people were shot at what started off as a birthday bash for a local rapper, and included guests like Brown, Meek Mill and Tyga.

The hip-hop stars were in the city for a concert at the Toyota Center on Monday night (16Mar15).

Police were reportedly called to help with crowd control and reports suggest officers were at the scene when the shots rang out at about 9.30pm local time.

The victims were a 22-year-old man and a 14-year-old boy, according to news station KPRC. One of those shot is in a serious condition.

Brown was linked to another shooting incident in San Jose, California in January (15), and he was hosting a pre-MTV Video Music Awards party in Los Angeles last year (14), when rap mogul Suge Knight was shot.

Video of Sunday night's shooting incident has gone viral and police are on the hunt for the gunman, according to Billboard.com.
