Chris Brown reaches out to 'girlfriend' from behind bars

Chris Brown has reached out to fans from behind bars in a brief heartfelt message left on girlfriend Karrueche Tran's voicemail.

The model posted a video of herself listening to the message on Instagram on Monday night (31Mar14).

In it, Brown thanked his fans for all their support and closed with, "Most importantly... Karrueche, I love you."

The voicemail appears to have ended weeks of speculation about the status of the on/off couple's relationship.

Tran reportedly ended the romance while Brown was in rehab, and recently insisted she was single - but she appears almost giddy in the video as she listens to the Kiss Kiss star's message.

Brown was jailed last month (Mar14) after he was booted from rehab, thus violating his probation from a 2009 assault conviction. He will remain behind bars until a court hearing later this month (Apr14).
