Chris Brown named suspect in battery report
Frank Ocean is keen to press charges against Chris Brown following an alleged altercation in the car park of a Los Angeles recording studio on Sunday (27Jan13).
The two stars and their entourages reportedly clashed over a parking space outside the Westlake Studio in West Hollywood, and police were called to the scene.
Ocean, who was left with a cut to his finger, allegedly declined to
press charges, but officials at the Los Angeles County Sheriff's
Department were still keen to question Brown over the incident on
Monday (28Jan13).
And now it seems the Pink Matter hitmaker, who tweeted that he "got
jumped by chris and a couple guys", has had second thoughts.
Police spokesman Steve Whitmore tells the Los Angeles Times
newspaper, "Chris Brown is a named suspect in a battery report. The
victim is desirous of prosecution."
Whitmore also told editors at Complex.com that Ocean was briefly
hospitalized to treat minor injuries to his hand.
The incident could land Brown in big trouble as he is still on
probation for assaulting his girlfriend Rihanna in Los Angeles the
night before the Grammy Awards in February 2009.
