Chris Brown leaves bodyguard behind in Bermuda
Chris Brown left his bodyguard behind in Bermuda following an alleged bust-up on board a private jet, according to local reports.
The Kiss Kiss star was traveling back to the U.S. from Ghana on Wednesday (06Mar13) following a gig in the African country when his plane stopped in Bermuda to refuel.
Editors of the Bermuda Sun publication report the jet was getting
ready to leave when the departure was stalled and the passengers
disembarked.
Brown and his entourage then re-boarded the plane, leaving a
bodyguard named Pat behind to make his own way back to the U.S.
An airport worker tells the publication, "I'm not sure of the
details of what happened on the plane but his plane came in, got
serviced and everything was finishing and they were getting ready
to leave. Then there was a stall. The security guard got off first.
He was standing outside talking to the pilot. Then Chris Brown and
another guy came off...
"They then went outside to have a cigarette. The security guard
came inside (the airport building) and said he wasn't getting back
on the plane... Chris went back through Customs and the plane left
at about 2.20pm."
Pat left several hours later on a flight to New York.
Brown performed at the Accra Sports Stadium in Ghana on Tuesday
night (05Mar13), but his appearance there was mired in controversy
as audience members complained about his bad language on stage and
alleged he smoked a banned substance during his set. Pictures of
Brown smoking during the concert have since emerged online.
