Chris Brown fires back at neighbors for graffiti complaint

R&B star Chris Brown has lashed out at his neighbors for complaining about the graffiti art outside his Los Angeles home after he was fined and ordered to remove the colourful artwork by local officials.

The Kiss Kiss hitmaker, an avid painter and graffiti artist, came under fire from nearby residents for spraying street art-inspired monsters on the outer walls of his Hollywood Hills mansion, and called in authorities to take care of the issue.

Discussing the matter, Patti Negri, president of the Hollywood Dell Civic Association, tells the Los Angeles Times, "There are lots of babies, lots of children, and they're literally frightened. It's like devils on the wall - big scary eyes and big scary teeth, and just the whole vibe is not what we're used to."

However, Negri's comments have infuriated Brown and he has fired back at the residents' association boss via Twitter.com, writing, "Keep em (sic) inside then! It's art. There are scarier creatures on Harry potter (sic). Get a f**king life!"

Brown was ordered to pay $376 for unpermitted and excessive signage and has been given 30 days to remove the mural.
