Chris Brown cancels Minnesota gig
Troubled R&B star Chris Brown has canceled his upcoming tour stop in Minnesota due to unspecified "scheduling conflicts".
The Kiss Kiss hitmaker and singer Trey Songz were slated to bring their Between the Sheets tour to Minneapolis' Target Center on 3 March (15), but according to local newspaper the Star Tribune, the gig has been axed.
There are no plans to reschedule the date, and refunds will be
issued to ticket holders.
The reason behind the cancellation is vague, but sources tell
Billboard poor ticket sales were to blame.
The Between the Sheets tour was supposed to kick off last month
(Jan15), but was postponed after a Los Angeles judge refused to
sign off on the travel permit Brown needed for the North American
shows because he had yet to complete the final 100 hours of his
community service by his January (15) deadline.
He had been ordered to log a total of 1,000 hours after violating
his probation stemming from his 2009 assault on then-girlfriend
Rihanna.
Brown recently completed his community service sentence, making way
for the duo to start the tour.
