Chloe Grace Moretz: 'I wanted a boob job at 16'
Chloe Grace Moretz was desperate for a breast enlargement when she was just 16-years-old.
The Kick-Ass actress is making waves in the industry with her performances and is often praised for her style. However, the 19-year-old admits she hasn't always been immune to the pressure to be perfect.
Chloe admits if it were not for her mother, Teri, she would already
have undergone her first plastic surgery.
"When I was 16. I wanted a boob job. I wanted the fat pad under my
chin to be removed. I wanted a butt reduction, or whatever. And my
mom said, 'Absolutely not, you're not allowed to have plastic
surgery.'" she explained to elle.com.
Despite being talked out of having the surgery, the 19-year-old
admits she still feels a certain amount of pressure, because of her
job as an actress to look good, to the point where she works out
daily.
"Yes, I have had hair extensions. Yes, the reason I have this body
is because I work out seven times a week. Yes, I eat really clean -
even though I don't always want to, and I definitely cheat. But
you're not just born with this. Sometimes you have to fight for and
work for things, and be happy with who you are at the same time.
And that's a really hard balance but I want to show it to young
women," she stressed, revealing the work that goes into making it
in Hollywood.
On her less secure days Chloe turns to her boyfriend Brooklyn
Beckham, son of soccer star David and fashion designer Victoria,
for comfort and reassurance. The blonde beauty praises the mature
17-year-old for being a "huge" support, and giving her a boost when
she needs it most.
"He's like, 'Stop. Look at what you say in interviews. Look at what
you stand for. Listen to your own words, because you're as
beautiful as you say you are! All young women are more beautiful
than they think, you know. And I like you more in sweatpants than I
do when you're on a red carpet,'" she smiled.
