CHER SNUBBED MAMMA MIA! ROLE ALONGSIDE MERYL STREEP

Cher snubbed the chance to reteam with her Silkwood co-star Meryl Streep - because she was too busy to sign on for Abba movie musical Mamma Mia!

The pop superstar has revealed she was invited to play one of Meryl Streep's best pals in the film, before Julie Walters and Christine Baranski landed the roles - and she had to say no.

Cher explains, "I was on the road, so I couldn't do it."
