The Los Angeles District Attorney has declined to charge a man arrested on suspicion of stalking Charlize Theron due to a lack of evidence.
Stanislav Sonseadec reportedly showed up at the gate of Theron's Hollywood Hills home in Los Angeles on Sunday (04Oct15) to deliver flowers to the Monster star and refused to leave, despite the actress' assistant repeatedly asking him to go away.
The assistant called local police and they subsequently took him into custody, according to TMZ.com.
On Tuesday (06Oct15), the District Attorney decided to drop the charges against Sonseadec, since there wasn't enough proof he intended to place Theron in any danger.
In addition, law enforcement sources tell TMZ that Sonseadec, a Russia native, may have misunderstood Theron's assistant due to a language barrier.
