Charli XCX dating New York musician - report

British singer Charli Xcx has reportedly struck up a romance with a New York-based musician.

The Boom Clap hitmaker split from film producer Ryan Andrews last year (14) and is said to have moved on with a new man, who she has been dating for the past three months.

A source tells Britain's Daily Mirror, "Charli sees her new man when she has time. Her schedule is so busy it's tricky to meet up. But she is in the Big Apple quite a bit and when she goes to the U.S. she often makes a connecting flight so they can spend a few hours together.

"Charli could have her pick of famous men but she's more interested in being with someone she has a connection with."

The musician's identity has yet to be revealed.
