Chance The Rapper helped to promote Jordan Peele's new horror Get Out by buying out all of Sunday's (26Feb17) screenings at a local theater in his native Chicago, Illinois.

The No Problem hitmaker has been raving about the comedian's directorial debut online, and he gave the release a big boost this weekend by inviting fans to view the movie on his dime.

"DID I NOT TELL YALL (sic) #GETOUT WAS INCREDIBLE!! BEST FILM ACROSS ANY GENRE IN AWHILE GO SEE IT TODAY!" Chance posted on Twitter. "I bought all the tickets to #GetOut at Chatham Theater on 87th Just pull up with ID and enjoy the movie (sic)."

He later added, "All day guys, come thru (sic)! Bring whoever, it's free I just want you to see it on 87th. There's a few more showings today! "It's already bussin (busy), I just left and might have to come back for a later showing!!"

Get Out, which has garnered a rare 100 per cent rating on film review website Rotten Tomatoes, debuted atop the nation's box office chart on Sunday with a $30.5 million gross.

The film features Girls star Allison Williams and British Skins actor Daniel Kaluuya as an interracial couple which makes a series of disturbing discoveries on a trip to meet the girl's parents, played by The West Wing's Bradley Whitford and Catherine Keener.
