Carrie Underwood to play ball in charity match

Country stars Carrie Underwood and Scotty Mccreery are set to show off their sporting sides after signing up to take part in a charity softball game in Nashville, Tennessee.
The singers, along with Brantley Gilbert, are backing the 22nd annual City of Hope Celebrity Softball Challenge, which raises funds for the cancer care center.
The stars will step up to the plate at Greer Stadium on 9 June
(12). Last year's (11) event raised nearly $200,000 for the
cause.
