Carrie Underwood and Taylor Swift will go head-to-head at the 2010 Academy of Country Music (ACM) Awards after they were both nominated for Entertainer of the Year. The American Idol star has a total of six nominations, including Album of the Year for Play On, while Swift has landed five. The duo will also fight it out for the Top Female Vocalist prize, along with Reba McEntire and Lee Ann Womack, while the male category will be a battle between artists including Kenny Chesney, Brad Paisley and Keith Urban. However, country trio Lady Antebellum are most-nominated act - the lead the way with seven top nominations. The band's self-titled disc will compete for Album of the Year, while their hit single Need You Now has garnered five mentions on its own, including Song of the Year, Video of the Year and Single Record. The winners will be unveiled on 18 April (10) when the 45th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards takes place in Las Vegas.
