Carrie Underwood and Steven Tyler wow Super Bowl fans with duet concert

Carrie Underwood and Aerosmith star Steven Tyler wowed the pre-Super Bowl crowds in Indianapolis on Saturday night (04Feb12) with a stunning collaborative concert.

The two stars teamed up onstage at the city's Indiana State Fairgrounds as part of the week-long Pepsi Fan Jam event and performed a selection of each other's hits.

The odd couple hit the high notes on Tyler's Cryin', Love in an Elevator, Sweet Emotion and Walk This Way and the country star's fan favourites Before He Cheats and Undo It.

The duet show was broadcast live for TV music show CMT Crossroads and during a candid chat taped before the concert, former American Idol champion Underwood told current Idol judge Tyler she was an unplanned "accident" while explaining why her sisters are much older than she is.

The gracious rocker corrected her and insisted she was "America's favourite mistake".
