U.S. TV personality Carrie Ann Inaba and her actor boyfriend Robb Derringer have reportedly called off their engagement and split.
The General Hospital star proposed to longtime Dancing With the Stars judge Inaba in December (16), but a source tells People magazine the couple has since parted ways.
Representatives for the pair have yet to comment on the report, but Inaba was spotted without her engagement ring over the weekend (09-10Sep17) while attending an event in Hawaii.
Her appearance took place days after she hinted at the break-up in a message on social media, writing, "Just when I think I have learned the ways to live, life changes," alongside a broken heart emoji.
Following the news of her failed engagement, she returned to Instagram on Wednesday (13Sep17) and shared a post which read, "Life is a balance of holding on and letting go," adding another broken heart icon to the caption.
Derringer, 50, also uploaded a cryptic quote from poet Rainer Maria Rilke.
"To love is good, too: love being difficult," it read. "For one human being to love another: that is perhaps the most difficult of all our tasks, the ultimate, the last test and proof, the work for which all other work is but preparation."
The former couple went public with its romance in the spring of 2016.
Carrie Ann, 49, was also previously engaged to accountant Jesse Sloan, but they ended the engagement in 2012.
