Pregnant model-turned-actress Brooklyn Decker pounded the pavement of Austin, Texas on Wednesday (24Jun15) as she helped to carry the Special Olympics' Flame of Hope through her hometown.

The Battleship beauty, who is married to retired tennis star Andy Roddick, was joined by Special Olympics representatives as she took part in the inaugural Unified Relay Across America, which is aimed at raising awareness about the summer Games and encouraging acceptance of people with disabilities.

Decker shared a collage of pictures on Instagram.com after the run, and captioned it, "Such an honor to #passtheflame for @specialolympics!!"

Similar to the Olympic torch relay, the Flame of Hope is lit in Greece, the home of the Olympics, and is taken by foot to the host city by a variety of participants, including sports stars and other celebrities.

The 2015 Special Olympics World Summer Games will kick off in Los Angeles on 25 July (15).
