Brittany Murphy's husband Simon Monjack has opened up about the couple's plans to start a family, insisting the late actress wanted to take a break from movies in 2010 to have a baby.

The Clueless star passed away suddenly on Sunday (20Dec09) after suffering a cardiac arrest aged just 32.

British screenwriter Monjack, who married Murphy in 2007, has been left devastated by the tragedy - and his grief has been compounded by the knowledge they were planning to have children in the new year (10).

He says, "She was an only child. She wanted a baby. Her dream next year was to have a child, and w e talked about how he or she would look. She'd say, 'They'd better have your eyes and lips and my hair.'"
