Brad Paisley records song he wrote with late Johnny Cash for new album

Brad Paisley's new album will feature a song he wrote with late country legend Johnny Cash.

The two singer/songwriters came up with Gold All Over the Ground before Cash died in 2003, and Paisley has now recorded the track for his new album Love & War.

The release will also feature guest appearances from Mick Jagger, John Fogerty, Timbaland, and country music icon Bill Anderson.

Paisley became friends with Jagger after opening for The Rolling Stones in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania back in 2013. He also joined Jagger's band onstage in Nashville, Tennessee in 2015.

Jagger will duet with Brad on the track Drive of Shame, a song they co-wrote.

Fogerty and Paisley penned the album's title track, while Timbaland features on two tunes, Grey Goose Chase and Solar Power Girl.

Love & War will be released on 21 April (17).
